The hotel

The original building was built in 1922 thanks to the impulse of the reuse businessman Joan Buqué Reverter who commissioned the prestigious architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner with the desire, so typical of the industrial bourgeoisie of the time, that the new building showed the social projection he had achieved thanks to the success of his businesses. Buqué had inherited the land of his grandfather, Ramón Buqué, ex officio passenger.

From there, then, the name of the house. Stograms, stained glass windows, sculptures, ceramics, wrought iron, give this house a decidedly modernist air and an impressive beauty, which was decreasing over the years and neglect, and that the rehabilitation carried out recently, led by the architect Ángel García Puertas, has recovered with all the splendor of the origin.
